Held annually, the SA Poker Awards looks to acknowledge the major achievements of the poker community across the state. The awards are selected by a committee representative of the four major members of SA Poker and a strict criteria is applied to ensure a fair and honest awards system.

Stacked Poker Championship‘s Main Event held from 3-6 January 2023 saw Kym Newgen best a field of 266 players to take home $104,320 for first prize. The event generated a whopping $526,680 prize pool. Runners up included the MatchrooM’s Super Series Main Event and the APL Jackstar event.
